This is a Mamiya C330 TLR.

Not an SLR. Single Lens Reflex. But a TLR. Twin Lens Reflex.

My good pal Stu is HND-ing photography like a good un. He has it home. It's a film thing. It takes square photos. The viewfinder is brilliant- open top gaze down crystal clear beauty.

You twirl knobs! Properly!!

God, I am such a nerd. But still.....it steals you back to a decade when photographers were far more into alchemy and magic. No wonder folk sometimes thought their soul was captured.

Although I still think the Blipperati are into Alchemy and Magic.
