Courtesy of the Tractor Factory wean and his father's subsequent paternity leave I get to spend three days this week taking his place on a course learning cool database-based stuff instead of sitting in a stuffy office feeling my brain looking for escape routes. As with any opportunity for fresh knowledge since I started working it's really made me wish I'd been this inclined to learn at school and uni. It also makes me annoyed that my school didn't have this type of teaching available. The only bad thing is that the day went by really quickly meaning that the end will come sooner and I only got about twenty minutes outside at lunchtime.
