Today we had some late lunch at a farmshop outside Blackburn, Lancashire.

We first visited ten or eleven years ago when we lived in Blackburn and the shop had just opened, mostly selling homemade icecream.

Back then the farmer had told us how he wanted to get out of farming. but it's got a lot bigger since then with more buildings and more products.

The thing that struck us today was just how many are now employed at Huntleys - hence this picture of the staff profile on a TV in the restaurant - so many more than must have been working on the farm.

It'swell worth a visit if you're down there - just off the A59 opposite British Aerospace.
