Destressed and obscured but not forgotten

I got a call first thing this morning about a job that subsequently got cancelled, but later ended up in Kings Cross on another errand and in search for inspiration.

I did a job for the Sunday Times a while ago in this area, photographing the actor Steve Furst who was in rehearsal at The Poor School around the corne.r The area has historically been know for theatriclal exploits, both above and below the line.

This building once housed a theatrical agent. Since closed down and covered with posters over the years, relentless London rain has eroded the top strata revealing elegant 50's lettering below.
