In the back the Town Hall of Kaiserslautern, the "Rathaus", build in 1968.

In the front the leftovers of the "Barbarossaburg or Kaiserpfalz" (1158 by Kaiser Friedrich Barbarossa), and the "Casimirsaal", a hall for fancy occations.

Located in the center of the city: The mall I was talking about in my Wednesday blip will be sitting in between the mirror glass building and the Barbarossaburg.
A solution for the traffic is still in the making.
