Dons car broke down but we were able to start it in Swindon and drive home without turning off the engine ... even when we had a puncture and had to change the wheel on the M27.

The only problem is since Don had his heart bypass he has not had to change a tyre and we found out that the operation to use the jack is impossible for him to do.
So luckily for us we were together he got the spare out, I got the nuts off and he put the jack under the car, I jacked the car up, took off the wheel put on the new and hand tightened the nuts, lowered the jack a bit tightened the nuts more removed the jack. Don had put the flat away repcked the FULL boot (of course) and then he finished tightening the bolts. I had on converse shoes in the pouring rain and kept slipping off the jack so he had to tighten them properly.

All in all a quick fix. Start to finish 13 minutes.
If we had known about the problem before we wouldnt have faffed about and it would have been done in 10.
But it was good anyway.
