Not Full Yet
Feeling better today, Took a leisurely walk in the woods. I saw several varieties of birds - a lot of woodpeckers. They are a shy sort. Each time I tried for a good picture, they would shimmy around to the opposite side of the tree. Anyway, it was good to be out in the beautiful weather. Also, kept hoping for a good shot of the pair of Red Hawks that kept flying overhead and sending all of the smaller birds scrambling for shelter. I could hear their piercing cries but no luck getting a decent picture of either of them. I might have found their nest though....
So this evening I stepped out with Old Dog hoping to see a little aurora borealis. Nothing spectacular as I wished for but a decent moonbow overhead. Boy I need practice focusing manually. I had a couple of more dramatic shots but this is one of the clearest. It reminds me a little of a nebula where new stars are born. Maybe someone else will have better luck capturing the Northern Lights.
