In a spin

My problem is I can be a bit impulsive and it gets me into a spin sometimes.
Yesterday I found myself agreeing with someone when I hadn't actually heard all they had to say because I was in a rush. I later found that I was in agreement with stuff that I was pretty much opposed to.
And that got me in a spin!
