Rest in peace uncle Jack.

Uncle Jack died on Monday, aged 80; cancer took him. He always seemed incredibly youthful, at least until a year ago. Anyway, no blip yesterday.

This painting is Le Grand Concert or L'Orchestre by Nicolas de Stael. The original is huge - 3.5 metres x 6 metres, and is in the Picasso Museum, Antibes.
