Not only that but got to go on yet another dang ferry (I ought to have shares in Calmac I am on their pesky boats so often) This one too leaves at the insane hour of 7am which may sound ok to you chirpy happy morning folks but to an owl like me when you need to be there at 6am therefore you leave your lovely warm bed at 5am, that is not good! And I wont get any sleep on board as I still have these bloody forms to fill in.
Where am I going? to Islay this time. At least its not so isolated, the last island I was on was stuck out in the middle of nowhere, population 200, work prospects almost nil, fuel price £1.66 a litre!
At least on Islay I can take in a distillery or 6 or maybe just sample all the whisky from the warmth and comfort of Duffies and have a grand old ceilidh with the rest of the crew.
