Bugger!

Went down to Waverly station today to pick up some freinds arriving from down south only to send back to our house by bus. Leaving Waverly station a small electrical fire started and sent smoke billowing out from the steering column. I pulled of the main road onto a side street behind the high courts. Which meant the second I left my car it would have been towed. I waited over 3 hours for the AA to arrive and by the end of it I was completely frozen. The mechanics diagnosis was "Its electrical, I needs to get to a garage." Oh bugger! He towed it back to my house until a descision can be made on what to do with it. We all know that electrical faults on cars these days aren't cheap.
