Mitchell Library

This is the entrance to the Mitchell Library Glasgow's reference library, endowed to the city by Stephen Mitchell a tobacco baron. The St Andrews Halls, adjacent to the original building, burned down and thus provided the space for a 1980 extension including the Mitchell Theatre.
