Day 1 on Site

Arrived on site this morning having no idea what to expect- and what a day it's been!
This is a whole new learning curve, this site work business, and I love it! Working alongside drillers on industrial sites has a certain thrill to it- not sure i can go back to making miniature cupcakes now....

Also nice to spend a day outside- though we might be suffering minor sunburn. Or it might be windburn, it is February and these are the British Isles, after all. Ah, the great outdoors. Life makes sense. And my cold is getting better.

All this newness has got me thinking about the past year, and how much has changed and how much, or how little is still the same. And thanks to the joy that is blip- I have a nice reminder of what I was up to last year and I can state with absolute certainty its been exactly a year since I was introduced to the Thumb Bandit. This is a cause for celebration, so I shall be raising my thumb and toasting the thumbster later on ce soir :)
