My new grubby little chain smoking friend

Well, another Ebay special arrived, 99p or so, with lens for once.

I think this chap was a bit of a chain smoker. The tar on top cover was so thick that the camera wouldn't wind on and fire the shutter. At all. Bit of alcohol to dissolve the tar and the camera now works.

Still smells like an ashtray, and will get cleaned up in due course.

Poor thing has been through the wars somewhat as it has multiple dents in the pentaprism. This chap took a tumble several times.

But it has sanctuary now.
