This is hopefully going to be my beautiful shower soon. You can just see the little inset I got them to put in for a shampoo bottle.

There are no workmen today as the builder is working on another job, but it is probably okay as it gives time for the plaster to dry out properly.

Terry our lovely builder is back tomorrow though and I'm looking forward to it - another step forward. As our house is Victorian and we have most of the original features the skirting boards are original. So as the style is not made any more, the skirting boards from the bathroom have been saved and are going to be used round the outside of the new bathroom. This makes sure that everything will match and look lovely.

The door is also going to get re-hung so it opens the other way, but it has meant that the light switch has needed to be re-sited. So as the electrician is working on it anyway I've taken the opportunity to upgrade to a dimmer switch for the bedroom so it'll be nice and moody!
