Passionate about.....

....a steeltown.

One of the most rewarding days I've ever had professionally. Caught the first train to Englandshire this morning and then managed to make a short-cut long. Undeterred, I arrived at the client site and found myself undertaking a pre-meeting CBT course about 'serious incident evacuation procedures' and 'human containment processes for noxious spillage'.....fortunately I passed, but I was a trifle unnerved by the need to contain what was left of a human after a spillage of noxious stuff.

Then I met the client. They are doing something truly special. Can't say more just now, but I was humbled by capitalists doing the right thing by their fellow humans, not often that features in my conversations with clients.

Felt a strong sense of contentment on the train home; listened to a colleague who is thinking of emigrating to Oz talk about the push and the pull of the decision making. Good luck with your deliberations mate, I've already emigrated once (to Edinburgh), so I'm all emigrated-out.
