Chewing

15 months 26 days

Before we went out this morning, we got a parcel. It was some things for Katie's memory box (amongst many other presents) that we'd lent a friend. One of them was a little dress my parents bought when Katie arrived. She decided to wear it today. It still does up. But overall, looks a little different to 15 months ago

Chewing is exactly what Katie has been doing all day today - the whole hand normally. Tooth 5 has finally cut after being blistered and 'nearly through' for about 6 weeks. Bless her, she's not having an easy time with the teething, they seem to make a real pain of themselves before she gets them.

We went to tea and toast, she was pleased when we got there but kept just coming and snuggling and being generally a bit sad. We didnt stay that long before coming home, then she wasnt that long before going to bed.

I had to wake her up to get ready for skating tots. We got there and she was so excited to see ava, she's really missed her. They ran to each other from opposite ends of the hallway. She had moments of so enjoying skating, but then she'd remember she was in pain and would snuggle to me and gnaw on her hand ferociously again.

Yesterday we got a last minute invite to a birthday tea with friends for Phil, little Emmas dad. Katie did really well, playing with the bigger kids, eating a fair amount of tea. She reached saturation point though and within ten minutes of being home she was in her jammies, snuggled to Mummy and clinging so close. She was fast asleep ten minutes after that.
