Cupboard Raiders

After reading quite a few horror stories about how journalists (or as they're known in Egypt - 'People with DSLRs') have been treated out here, I'm a little reluctant to venture outside with my camera. Today therefore was mostly spent cleaning the flat and playing the PS3 (DJ Hero and Mass Effect 2, the former of which is incredible) and regularly glugging down cough syrup (which doesn't appear to do anything other than give me a sugar rush).

I shall endeavour to go and check out the Mubarak-Free Cairo tomorrow to see if there's any immediate difference, most pressingly with regard to taking photos and trying to get my salary for last month. For now though, I'm quite happy staying inside and playing with all my toys. Pizza and movie next I think.

(Four oatcakes were harmed in the making of this blip. I only managed to bring back two boxes in the end, but Larissa is on task to fill her suitcase up with them when she comes home at the weekend.)
