Carpet Rug

This is my Persian rug, bought by me in Tehran after 2 and a half weeks travelling around what seemed like every carpet trader in Iran.

I take a while to make a decision, and you never know when you are going to be back in Iran so I thought I'd better choose a nice one. Luckily on the last day I found something that looked great and had the colours and patterns I liked.

On getting home I plopped it on the floor and though "lovely". About 10 minutes later I realised that if I looked at it for too long it turned into a moving mess of lines and shapes that gave me a headache.

FAIL!!! (but funny, I squint when I look at it these days, does the trick!)
