I've been thinking of my mom a lot today. It's been 12 years since she died. It seems like 20 years. Like a whole lifetime has gone by that she's not been part of. It sucks. She was the one truly honest person I knew. She didn't have an agenda, she certainly wasn't Politically Correct, she didn't try to spare your feelings, or hurt your feelings for that matter......she often made me mad...but that's what Mother's do. Mostly, she was a great freind to me. (once I wasn't a rotten kid anymore that is:) She was a great help to me with my son. So often I wish she was here to give him a kick in the ass!!! Even though she was only 5'2" tall NO ONE was too big for her to put in their place!!
