You put your left foot in ....

I was in the office today for a meeting, and caught this while we were standing around chatting.

Today we were mostly talking about the Beatles Love album and what a strange piece of work it is. On one level a technical tour de force, but somehow too smooth and corporate. It seems to be about developing the Beatles brand and introducing it to a new audience.

Also next week sees the launch of a set of Beatles postage stamps.. Again my first reaction was positive then I thought how cheesy it is, but, there's one saving grace. By publishing the Sgt Pepper album cover we'll have the joy of seeing Aleister Crowley, The Great Beast, The founder of the Order of the Golden Dawn, the creator of Magick, author of The Diary of a Drug Fiend and 'The Wickedest Man in the World', glowering at us opposite the Queen.

Now that's a very cool idea!
