Scapa Flow

The oil tanker is fully laden and waiting for higher oil prices before her cargo is sold. And you thought the price at the petrol station was high enough!

Lovely sun and clouds today. I got the bike out and headed to Hobbister on the Orphir road. Kirkwall is pretty sheltered and the wind on the road was fresher than I expected. I had my coffee at the bird reserve at Hob. Not much about, though a peregrine falcon made a brief appearance. Lots of fulmars on the cliffs.
