Yesterday, Valentine's Day, himself came home with flowers. Just a small gift; six red tulips and two hyacinths.

To most couples this would be seen as a lovely gesture but the "WTF" moment for me was that we are currently getting divorced. Yes it was lovely to receive my favourite flowers but the card, penned in his scrawl, said "Happy Valentine's Day, all my love...".

I'm a bit confused.

Does he really think this will change my mind and we'll go back to our happy ever after?

Do the solicitors' letters not register in his mind as "she is serious"?

I just don't know.

They smell nice though.
