The Sun and the Bigger Piton

Yesterday's blip was the Petit Piton. Here is a photo of the Gros Piton, towering over the beach like a tropical monolith.

Thing is you would think that a resort bordered by two mountains would lose the sun as it dips behind them. Not so. Thanks to the genius of nature the alignment of the mountains means the sun rises and sets directly between them.

Not for one minute is this paradise shrouded in shadow.
