Red

Given today's theme, the only difficulty was deciding which picture I took of him to use!

The heart was given to Red by Rah at his baby shower. At 20 weeks pregnant, we were told Red had a hole in his heart (VSD) and a deformed tricuspid valve (Ebsteins). To say the pregnancy and his first few months of life were worrying is an understatement. Fortunately, he is a tough little man and so far neither of these have caused him any problem whatsoever.

Rah was given the heart when her own daughter was undergoing heart surgery. It has a beautiful feel to it and I have spent many hours caressing it while watching neurotically over my sleeping boy!
