Jacob's Ladder

When I saw this I got to thinking, not of stairways to heaven, but of the beautiful wooden toy that our kids once had...until it went into the bathtub. (It seemed like a good idea at the time.)

The sunshine and melting today were heavenly though.

M tells me that yesterday she tried to escape from the physical rehab hospital where she's recovering from her stroke. She was apprehended and returned and now has to wear a monitor on her wheelchair.
