Some of the birthday flowers

It isn't my birthday until Tuesday but I couldn't resist blipping these bright little fellows who arrived for lunch yesterday. Tonight we drank the wine featured yesterday as we were three cousins together, none of us siblings to each other. A nice get together. One had only recently returned from a three week working trip to Canada and so it was a bit of a welcome back too.

There are other flowers and I was hard put to choose which, maybe I'll take another photo of them tomorrow and give them a chance to shine too.
