Sparrows of the house variety

I guess that's why they're called house sparrows!

I didn't have much time for snapping today, but I did nip outside briefly with my camera and spotted these guys up on the roof. RSPB describes house sparrows as "noisy and gregarious" and that would certainly seem to be apt for these birds. I've previously touched on the fact that they are in decline in the UK, with numbers falling dramatically but there's no shortage of them round our house!
