V-day Vacation

Tonight we went on a little one night vacation downtown. It was a great day and night, starting with a long run, lunch with both sets of parents, good friends and our favorite Viola. Shopping downtown and then to our hotel room for a little get-away about 6 miles from our house. We got a little dressed up and headed out, enjoying tasty appetizers and libations at several spots. We met good friends and had a fun time out. We are paying for it today...it turns out we can't really have all that "fun" anymore without a wicked headache and need for greasy foods. Ah well, good to remind yourself that every once in a while!

You might be asking what that all would have to do with a kid holding an axe. The answer is nothing really, just thought it was an interesting shot of a somewhat controversial add for Portland's new MLS team. Enjoy!
