A day early

Since Jem is on nights, wanted to have some flowers waiting for her tomorrow morning. So bought them today, and thought I'd take a photo of Jem's favourite this afternoon.

But had to wait until this evening to upload, now she's at work, so she doesn't get a sneak preview! Glad I did, as I took the original photos on a less sympathetic background and didn't spray the flower. Much happier with this.

And I suppose it fits this week's challenge as well. Maybe more on this later too.
