Zell am See

I found my old hitch hiking diary which hopefully means I can date a few pics. One thing I've noticed whilst reading it is how many campsites I snuck out of without paying.

Rain again in morning! Packed up and left secretly around midday. Waited for ages before getting a lift around 4pm to 24ks short of Zel am See. Soon got another lift with an old couple who'd been out walking. Walked around the lake and found campsite at northern end. It was an Austrian holiday today so all the shops were closed. Lived on chocolate and beer from garages.
