Te Arai

An amazing beach. Huge turquoise and white waves. There were lots of surfers out today and, at one point, they all seemed to disappear... two of them walked past and told us to keep Mungo out of the water as there was a shark!

They didn't seem too concerned though as they were all back in 15 minutes later! Loons!

PS We didn't know it at the time, but the sky had started to hint about the forthcoming cyclone!
