Winter Sky

Winter has a grip on our area today. No snow but brutal cold tempatures. I had the pleasure today to see one of my good friends projects come to completion. They renovated a old rustic cabin into a quaint updated lake home in Lake Milton, Ohio.

I took my camera along to get some interior picures of his family's wonderful place. After being inside for awhile, I was pulled outside by the lake they sit beside. Cold, quiet and all alone at this summer retreat.

This lake in the summer has the sounds and smells of boats, fireworks, music and camp fires along with great food with lots of cold drinks. Kids laughing and dogs barking- it is a great place to visit with good company. Memories galore...

Today, it was earily quiet and the lake that is so busy had just a few ducks wintering over, looking at me like a intruder to their place.

I took over 100 pictures today and had so many great shots. This one posted just called out to me as captureing todays time alone at the shore of this great place in the winter.
