Gray whale-spy hopping

We spent the next two days in Laguna San Ignacio observing and touching the gray whales. Several 'friendly'gray whale mother/calf pairs were encountered and they came up to the pangas and allowed us to touch them. This picture is of a gray whale spy hopping and her calf is right beside her.
