Spring Calf

Although the weather is still a bit erratic, Spring is definitely on its way. The sure signs are everywhere on the farm, the Daffodils are almost out, the birds are hunting nest sites, the grass needs cutting and as you can see from the photo, the cows are calving.

It won't be long before they are all back being milked, which means we need time our entrances and exits to avoid the 15 minute delay when 250 of them cross the road.

I also realised that I can use this for the weekly Forum challenge. Its "Body parts" this week and after all, this is a "calf". . . . . Sorry . . . . . that has to be my worst pun on Blip to date :-)
