Brown Pelican

On Sunday morning, prior to my Baja trip my friend Mike picked me up at the hotel and we went to photograph the pelicans at La Jolla Cliffs. This is the season with the California brown pelicans in their breeding plumage and this individual shows the red in the neck very well.
