Tell your mother I saved your life!
My first 'proper' bird blip (not counting water birds, as they are inclined to pose for a photo). Yay!!!
I hope that this little one will rush home to give the good news that it has been spared from being Lottie's lunchtime snack. Although, I doubt it will remember by the time it gets there.
Lottie sat in wait as this little bird flitted from high to low branches, tantilisingly close to her. I couldn't believe my luck either, as I normally get my camera and the subject is off like a flash.
Even after I shooed Lottie away, the bird did not leave, so eventually I had to shoo the bird away too.
There are no bird tables in my garden, as I have three cats, so this is one lucky little bird, and I am one lucky blipper.
Please feel free to let me know what this bird is? A chaffinch?
