Blue Movie Moon

Back to the grind today, with stacks to do, but surprised myself with quite a positive attitude. Probably a lot to do with seeing the sun shine for a change and seeing it stay above the horizon for a little longer.

If it's not going to snow, then roll on Spring. I can't wait to get my fishing rod out. First trip booked for February, so something to look forward to at least.

Stopped in to see Lal and Jon on the way home. The moon was looking nice with clouds rushing past and the car roof tripod came in handy again. I didn't realise just how fast the moon moves (or how fast we are spinning on this little planet), but a 20 second exposure showed a bit of a moon trail.

I only took 4 shots, each one maybe 30 seconds apart, and looking at the pics, the moon had moved about an inch between each shot. An inch for a three inch moon seems like quite a lot?! How on earth did we put men on that little thing?...specially when it's moving so fast? Or was it all done in a studio :o?
