Albatross

This Bird has been following our cruise ship for the last few days.

It is I am told ,and from what I have read, an Albatross. The Ancient Mariner and all that.

I have tried to take an in focus picture of this lovely and very large creature but it won't keep still!!! . My admiration goes out to those patient and camera competent blippers who can achieve what I can't.

However rather than waste several hundred shots, I selected this one which I though had some artistic merit taken as it disappears, yet again, behind equipment on the ship's deck.

Well. that's what I thought .

We are cruising in the Pacific.
