Misty moody forest Waipuna Saddle

Nature Photography club trip to the totara (NZ native tree) stumps on the Little River - Port Levy Rd. Very misty day, didn't get many shots I liked, because I focused on small details when the big picture would have been better!!

Will know for next time (although it will never be the same - that's the first thing you learn when starting photography - you can never go back! Bit like life really!!)

Anyway this is a remnant of regenerating forest - look at the size of the stump and the size of what's there now!!
