Glam Sam

We met up with samIam and Sands in town today, to bid a fond farewell to the American lass before she flies back to AZ for an operation on her poor shoulder.

We also learned that Sands is actually quite as weird as her sister.
For instance, she is still a member of the Scotch Malt Whisky Society, even though she hates the taste of whisky. Funny lass.
She will be trying to get over the terrible hole in her life caused by Sam leaving by coming along to the Leith blipmeet on Thursday, though..so she does have some moments of rational thought ;)

After our lunch, I walked back along the Water of Leith, but didn't really get any decent wildlife shots...I did get a couple of soaking wet socks as there are several deep and unavoidable puddles on the path.
Tant pis!
At least the mighty Pars did the business today, and the Wee Team faltered just at the end :^D
