An oasis in the City

Queen Street Gardens - so central to the main shopping area and busy streets yet it seems miles away and a different world when you're in the gardens.

Edinburgh was very busy today and a mass of red with all the visiting Welsh rugby supporters. It was lovely and had a great atmosphere but walking through the gardens provided a few moments of silence and calm before re-emerging into the noisy crowds.
