Armillary Sundial - Old Stuff In My Yard #6

Although it doesn't look like it, the sundial is on a tree stump that is about 2 feet tall, and currently swamped with snow. The arrow (called a gnomen) points north and its shadow falls on the rim indicating the current time.

Thanks for your comments on yesterday's blip. When I looked at it again this morning I realized that I also photographed my messy back seat, strewn with books and CDs. Time to clean the car :)
