The road where we stayed in Yogya. Located in a small neighbourhood off Jl Sosrowijayan, we found that there are very few foreign tourists about; I guess due to the earthquakes, volcanos and terrorism that have occurred in Indonesia over the last few years. The locals who lived and worked in this area where always happy to see us, shouting "Hello!", each time we walked past, and often asking us where we are going or where we have been, the standard questions we were asked everywhere in Indonesia.
