Redbud's Reflections

By redbud

A frozen fog.
Very descriptive of the state of my own mind at times..haha, particularly when I am pondering one of life's little dilemmas. Vascillation between two viewpoints on a particular issue prevents one from seeing a clear answer at times. I don't know about you, but I'm not content to stay in a fog on critical issues. I feel driven to clarify my "stand". Arriving there, I can move forward.

I've settled in my own opinion, some of life's tough questions (like "which came first the chicken or the egg?" or "If a tree falls in the woods and there's no one there to hear it, does it make a sound?").....these, I have in clear view, no fog.

The other day, I heard someone pose the question: "is it better to do the right thing for the wrong reason, for the wrong thing for the right reason?"

A very good friend of mine would quickly answer with "All things are relative?"
But, is that true?, I mean, wow..."all things" now that's pretty comprehensive.
After all, isn't "doing the right thing" always right?

And now, if you've read my rant...I've managed to pull you into this fog with me!! hahaha....
