Concrete jungle where dreams are made of

Finally arrived!

The flight went well, caught up on a couple of movies, Jackass 3 (very juvenile but very funny) and The Expendables (good blokes popcorn movie) The queues for security were a nightmare! It took an hour to get through to baggage reclaim! Then an epic cab ride through rush hour with a very nice cab driver which eased the pain.

Checked into the hotel then straight down to our favourite New York bar, Faces and Names for our traditional mini burgers and beer.

Ross and Vickie then decided they were tired and wanted to get a good sleep before the big tourist trek tomorrow so I decided to take a quick walk down to Times Square before retiring.

It was freezing cold as I hadn't planned on the walk so it was a real quick visit. A quick snapshot for my blip, hot chocolate from Starbucks then back to the hotel.
