A Big Swing and a Miss

What a shocker. What can you say. Acutally he got away with it and didnt go out that ball, but yes, a few later. Terrible techinque. Can see the lack of practice showing up. Was finally bowled by a no ball which led to an argument between the two referees and a lot of discussion and then tears when it was finally a dismissal. It has taken 3 hours for him to calm down and be civil at home. A long period of that in his own bedroom to have some space and to provide safety from angry parents!
I think 3 hours of sulking after 12 minutes at the crease is not a very good equation!
