Stairway to nowhere...

FRANCE - This puzzled me each and every time we drove past it in the village where we were staying. This staircase was propped against a tree in a garden.

I guess the owners of the house had ripped it out and left it outside, but thats a boring solution... So I decided that if you climbed these stairs there would be a magical world at the top of the tree
