It is my 40th birthday today. I am older than my father ever was. To think of the things he had done by the time he was just a little younger than I now am gives me a sense of underachievement.
So I contemplate what to bring with me in this uncharted land.
I see work is still in progress on the other side but I must press on lest the boat will leave without me!
