Birthday girl

Today was K's birthday and dinner at Gillie's Bar & Grill at Galgorm Manor (now called Galgorm Resort & Spa). One of the features of her birthday is that it is always in close proximity to Valentine's day, so going out for her birthday nearly always coincides with Valentine's specials and tonight was no different. The Valentine's Special it was! Starters of goat's cheese bruschetta and cream of cauliflower soup followed by steak & peppercorn sauce for K and chicken breast with a cream basil sauce for me. Beautifully rounded off with chocolate orange cheesecake and white chocolate & raspberry mousse. All washed down with a tasty bottle of Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon.
